User Research

To seek the users’ opinions and problems about the subscription process, I conducted a survey that targets 10 people who are actively using the subscription services. The main goal of the research is to understand the goals, motivations, and pain points of the users within their services and resolving their problems by designing a better solution for them.

Competitive Analysis

Going though other apps, I found a lot of pros and cons for subscription tracking. I did a comparison and contrast with three different companies and ruled out every good and bad thing for them to conduct a better app that I saw worked or didn’t work.

Observations

The color contrast for the lighter blue was too bright on the user’s eyes and they wanted a different color to make sure it was readable, so I decided on the primary color blue with white writing.
